In May of this year, I had a chance to re-visit with author and illustrator Rob Bounds. He’s the author of a book titled Dandelion Blue that caught my eye both with its colorful panoply of budgerigars and a message that being different is not only okay but is sometimes that which saves us. He also taught me the word budgerigars and had previously told us an interesting story about his granddad Syd who was a member of London Midland Scottish Railway Company fur and feather society.
My 2016 interview with Rob is at Inkspokes. He speaks about the message in Dandelion Blue, a bit about his stepping into the world of publishing, and his other authorings.
